Welcome! The artwork on this website represents my work as a Freelance Illustrator! My specialties are medical, veterinary and scientific illustration....and I also love general illustration; especially creating figurative and animal artwork.

Based in the UK, I am a Member of the Medical Artists' Association and a Registered Medical Illustration Practitioner. Having previously worked for over 25 years as a Registered Midwife and also as a Registered Nurse, both in the UK and overseas, I have a great deal of experience in many aspects of health services around the world which is of great help to me in my work as an medical Artist. Artwork ranges from simple line work to complex highly detailed illustrations and can be produced using a variety of media ranging from simple pen and ink or watercolour to multi-layered digital artwork using the Adobe Creative Suite 3; Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Below is a watercolour painting of a scapula (shoulder blade).

As a Fine Artist, whenever possible, I support wildlife charities such as the Born Free Foundation and the George Adamson Wildlife Preservation Trust. I also have a favourite human charity; 'Feet First Worldwide'; and where possible, using my artwork, I try to support this wonderful charity which works towards the treatment and prevention of physical disability worldwide.
